Patches
Patches was born July 10, 2004 and is my first breeding Shih Tzu. She weighs approximately 13 pounds and is CKC registered. She has been an absolutely wonderful dog in our home. She is the perfect example of what the Shih Tzu breed represents. She has gorgeous coloring, a marvelous personality, and the sweetest temperament. Very rarely has she come across a person she didn't love. She's quick to let us know when we have company and is very protective of her family. Although she is very well behaved and trained, don't let that precious face fool you. She does possess the Shih Tzu trait of being very persistent at getting something she wants! She loves rough housing with Chunky Monkey and Rylee
and cuddling and napping with Sydney. At the dog park, people have dubbed her as
"The Diva" because she would rather sit on the bench and watch over all of the
activities than participate. We call her a little old lady because of her
enjoyment just sitting in the rocking chair by the window and looking out.
Rylee

Rylee is the daughter of Patches, born June 25, 2008. She is CKC registered and weighs just over 10 pounds. I have plans to breed her in
2010, but am still waiting to see if she
grows just a little bit bigger. She is so tiny right now that I wonder how she is able to hold her own against her much bigger older brother, Patches, and Sydney. Rylee has the most out going personality of any dog I've ever known. Sometimes, I'm convinced that Sydney gave birth to her! She has a tendency to crouch down like a cat and slowly creep up on Chunky Monkey and then pounce on him unexpectedly. It's funny to watch her run around the house as fast as she can and then just collapse on the floor in exhaustion. If I am able to breed her, it'll be interesting to see if her puppies turn out like her!
Gypsy

Gypsy was born February 22, 2009 and is AKC registered. She's
a solid chocolate liver that has a personality to match Rylee and Sydney!
If you're lucky enough to catch her, she'll gladly lay in your lap as long
as you pet her, but would much rather explore her surroundings. Her
favorite thing to do is dunk her head in a water bowl and then run around as
fast as she can slinging water on everyone. I won't be expecting any litters from her until around
2011, but I already have a waiting list started for her. I can't wait to see what she throws for me. Thanks Diane of
Frilly Fido for this beautiful girl!
